Join us in downtown Bellows Falls for two weeks of holiday cheer, festive activities, and local shopping fun! From Black Friday through the Parade of Lights, the village comes alive with events, prizes, and community spirit.
Support your favorite local shops, discover new ones, and enjoy the sparkle of the season — all while having a chance to win holiday prizes through Holiday BINGO.
🧭 What’s Happening
🛍️ Holiday BINGO
Pick up a Holiday BINGO card at participating businesses, collect secret code words as you shop, and complete various FREE activities around town.
How to Play:
- Pick up a BINGO card at any participating downtown business.
- Shop local and collect code words (sample below) hidden in stores and at free activities.
- Complete 5 squares, 12 squares, or fill your whole card to be entered into the Holiday Raffle.
- Turn in your card by the end of the Parade of Lights on Dec 13 at J&H, Lisai’s Market, or Halladay’s Flowers & Gifts.
Raffle Prizes:
- 2nd Prizes: $10–$25 value
- 1st Prizes: $25–$50 value
- Grand Prizes: $50+ value
Winners will be announced the week following the event — keep an eye on BFDDA’s Facebook and Instagram.

- Plaid Friday – Nov 28
Celebrate in style with seasonal deals at your favorite shops while showing off your holiday plaid. - Small Business Saturday – Nov 29
Support local! Explore shops, enjoy treats, and find unique gifts for everyone on your list. - Artist’s Sunday – Nov 30
Tour local artist studios, meet the makers, and shop handmade creations perfect for gifting. - Cider Monday – Dec 1
Sip on seasonal cider while strolling downtown and browsing local shops. - Giving Tuesday – Dec 2
Give back to the community by supporting local businesses and nonprofit partners.
👗 Festive Fashion Weekend – Dec 6 & 7
Show off your holiday style downtown!
- 🐾 Sit, Stay, Slay Saturday – Dec 6
- Dress your pet in their holiday best and stroll downtown!
- Photo Station in The Square, 2–4 PM – Have your pet’s festive photo taken for the Favorite Pet Costume Instagram & Facebook Contest. The entries with the most likes by the end of the Parade of Lights will be the winners.
- 👕 Sunday Sweater Shenanigans – Dec 7
- Wear your funniest or coziest holiday sweater while shopping and dining.
- Photo Station in The Square, 2–4 PM – Have your sweater photographed for the Favorite Sweater(s) Instagram & Facebook Contest. Most likes win!

- Fun Friday: Ladies’ Night, Winter Market & more! – Dec 12
- Enjoy a festive evening of shopping, treats, and community cheer!
- Parade of Lights – Dec 13
- 5:00 PM – Downtown Bellows Falls will shine bright as local floats, groups, and families parade through the village. Bring your family, bundle up, and enjoy hot cocoa, music, and lights while celebrating the end of Holiday BINGO.

🚗 Parking & Accessibility
Free parking is available throughout downtown: in The Square, at the Waypoint Center, and on Depot Street. Look for signage and follow local guidelines.
Most events are outdoors — dress warmly and check BFDDA’s Facebook or Instagram for any weather updates or changes.
