Bellows Falls – Where grit, history, and creative spirit come together to shape a diverse community.
Nestled along the banks of the Connecticut River, where fast moving waters carve through a rocky gorge, Bellows Falls, Vermont, is a town rich in history and natural beauty.
Home to ten bridges, stunning views of Fall Mountain (above), and access to both the Saxtons and Connecticut rivers. Bellows Falls boasts several firsts: the site of the first bridge crossing the Connecticut River, and the location of the first Canal constructed in the U.S.
The Boston Globe described Bellows Falls as the ‘front porch capital of the world’. Conveniently located between exits 5 & 6 on Interstate 91, with regular train service. Bellows Falls offers scenic views of Fall Mountain to the east, across the New Hampshire border, and Oak Hill to the west.
Check out what the Bellows Falls Downtown has to offer- from vibrant arts, and culture, outdoor activities, restaurants, and a diverse array of small locally-owned businesses! Find updated information on FB.
