🐾 Sit, Stay, Slay Saturday – Dec 6
Dress your pet in their holiday best and strut your stuff downtown!
Activities & Contests:
- Photo Station in The Square, 2–4 PM – Stop by and have your pet’s holiday outfit photographed for the Favorite Pet Costume Instagram & Facebook Contest. The photos will be posted online for voting by likes!
- Holiday BINGO – Hunt for code words at participating businesses

👕 Sunday Sweater Shenanigans – Dec 7
Wear your funniest, coziest, or most outrageous holiday sweater while shopping and dining downtown!
Activities & Contests:
- Photo Station in The Square, 2–4 PM – Stop by and have your holiday sweater photographed for the Favorite Sweater(s) IG & FB Contest. Encourage friends and family to like your photo—most likes win!

📸 Instagram & Facebook Photo Contests
Show off your festive flair and compete for Favorite Pet and Favorite Sweater(s) prizes!
How It Works:
- Visit the Photo Station in The Square during contest hours (2–4 PM) on your event day.
- I’ll take your photo at the station—pets in holiday outfits on Saturday, holiday sweaters on Sunday.
- Your photo will be posted on the Holidays in Bellows Falls Instagram and/or Facebook page.
- Encourage friends and family to like your photo!
Contest Rules:
- Follow us on Instagram or Facebook to be eligible.
- One entry per person/pet per day.
- Entries must be taken during event hours at the photo station.
Winners:
- 3 winners each day: the entries with the most likes by the end of the Parade of Lights.
- Winners will be announced on social media after the parade.
Tips for a Winning Photo:
- Show off your holiday spirit—accessories, lights, and props help!
- Make your pet comfortable and keep them leashed.
- Have fun and be festive—smiles and silliness count!

Do I need Instagram to enter the contests?
Yes, one of the requirements of entering the contest is to follow us on Instagram.
Is there a cost to participate?
Nope! Dress up, come downtown, hang out, gather code words, and get your photo taken.
Where can I park?
FREE parking is available in The Square, at the Waypoint Center, and on Depot St. — look for signage and follow local guidelines.
What if it rains or snows?
Dress warmly! Most activities are outdoors—check our website or social media for any updates.
