Built in 1787, the Rockingham Meeting House was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2000, it is recognized as the largest intact 18th public building remaining in Vermont still in its original material form and in active use.
The Rockingham Meeting House is host to performances, celebrations, and weddings, and a multi-phased restoration project will ensure these events can continue in perpetuity.
Questions on the restoration project, can be emailed to Walter Wallace, CLG Coordinator at the Rockingham Historic Preservation Commission at clg@rockbf.org
