On Saturday, November 30th Main Street Arts in Saxtons river, VT presents a CD-release concert featuring Vermont-based singer/songwriter Elizabeth Rogers and cellist Eugene Friesen. The duo brings their soulful collaboration to a repertoire of Celtic-infused holiday songs and instrumentals from their new recording “Down in Yon Forest.” The combination of Rogers’ voice – aptly described as “pure silver” – and Friesen’s innovative cello creates music that is at once mesmerizing and heart opening.
