Vermont Country Store

Family owned since 1946 when Mildred and Vrest Orton sent their first Vermont Country Store catalog to friends and family for Christmas, as ‘Purveyors of the Practical and Hard-to-Find’ in Weston, Vermont.  Lyman Orton and his sons Gardner, Cabot and Elliot continue that tradition. Find everything from clothing, bedding, bath, kitchen, gifts, tools, greenery, treats, toys and prepared food at both Rockingham and Weston locations.

Elliot Orton’s favorite candies include the “Charleston Chew (the original foot-long bar), Swedish Fish, and Pop Rocks!”
